Defects in DNA Repair Genes Associated with Human Diseases

Join us for a deep dive into the intricate world of DNA repair and its profound impact on human health. Over the past decade, my research has uncovered the hidden roles of DNA repair pathways and ADP-ribosylation by PARP enzymes in protecting the genome from damage. We will explore how the failure of these essential processes leads to cancer and neurological disorders, and how targeting these vulnerabilities with PARP inhibitors offers new hope for treatment.
