Life Sciences Seminar - Program for autumn 2021

About the lecture

The talk will summarize our most recent findings in development of new methods of synthesis of modified nucleoside triphosphates and enzymatic synthesis of base-modified nucleic acids (DNA or RNA) through polymerase incorporation of the modified nucleotides. The modified nucleic acids are applied in diagnostics (environment-sensitive fluorescent labelling, redox labelling etc.) and chemical biology (bioconjugations, cross-linking with proteins, regulation of protein-DNA binding and switching transcription).
